There is just something nostalgic about hunting with a Henry rifle.

When my wife had the opportunity recently to travel to Florida to hunt wild hogs, she quickly chose to take her Henry Big Boy .44 mag. The rifle has plenty of power to stop a hog, and is accurate for her out to 100 yards. That would be more than enough range in the dense south Florida vegetation.

During the hunt, with one shot fired from her rifle at 40 yards, the big boar she hit spun to charge, and then immediately fell over. Luckily for us, the Henry Rifle is as powerful of a gun as you could hope for.

Check out this video to see how the Big Boy performs out to 100 yards.
