It would be great if every deer fell within eyesight, but that will not always happen. Even a well-placed arrow or bullet will allow an animal to run several hundred yards.

Then there are the shots that are a little off, which makes the recovery process a little tougher.

Almost all deer can be recovered, but it will take some knowledge, skill, and even luck to make it happen. We cannot control our luck, but we can do our part to add the knowledge and skill needed.
