Shotgun Trigger Tip: Don’t Squeeze

Shotgun Trigger Tip: Don’t Squeeze [VIDEO]

Shooting a shotgun and a rifle are similar in some respects. The gun should shoulder well, allow proper head positioning, and be sighted with both eyes open. However, squeezing the trigger, a near necessity for tight groups and center-fire accuracy, is a no-no on sporting clays and live birds. Gil Ash, one of the nation’s leading shooting teachers, makes this point in a brief but informative video. I’ve attended seminars put on by Gil and his Gil and Vicky 018wife Vicki, and they’re top-notch. Listen to what the man has to say as you check out the video.
